MotoGP calendar provisional for the season 2020
20 races, the addition of the Finnish GP and another big change - the first-look 2020 calendar is here
L&A Motorcycle Safety
A change in the date of the Thailand race and a temporary place for the Finland Grand Prix returning to the tournament.
The Asian Trinity Japan - Australia - Malaysia will remain as it is for the 2020 season from 18 October to 1 November. This means that Thailand broke away from the 2020 season after it broke this Asian triad known to us last year by annexing them.
With the Aragon race booked for the previous Thailand race date in early October.
The Austin tour will return to its original date, two weeks after the Thailand race, and two weeks before the Argentine race.
After that, the tournament train will head to Europe, with the Spanish Grand Prix at the Jerez circuit again on the first weekend in May.
Similarly this year, the prizes will be followed by France, Italy and Catalonia.
Finland's first race since 1982 will end the first half of the season on July 12, following the Czech and Austrian races as the tournament resumed after the holiday in early August.
The British Grand Prix at Silverstone - which renewed its contract to host the race until the end of the 2021 season after a complete rebuilding of the track - will take place again at the weekend of Augustbank, followed by the San Marino Spa in Mezzano.
The season will again end in Valencia in mid-November, ending the longest season in the history of MotoGP.
The draft calendar notes that Finland's tour is "under examination by the federation" of the new circuit, and that the Brno race is "under contract".
At the beginning of the season, Czech MotoGP cyclist Karl Abraham said there was a possibility that this year's Brno race could be the last, although the current contract runs until the end of 2020.
